We had Liam's birth all planned out for July 6th, but he had plans of his own. My water broke at 9:10 PM on July 1st and within 3 hours he was delivered at 12:01 AM on July 2nd weighing in at 7 lbs 11 ounces and 19.3 inches long. We could not be more excited that he is here. Here are a few pictures taken at his birth:

A lot of catching up to do

It's been about 6 months since I last posted anything, but now that baby Liam is here, I'm determined to catch this site up and keep it up to date. Here are some pictures of Millie taken in the last 6 months.

10 Months

Yesterday Millie went for her 10 month photo shoot. It's so hard to believe she's already 10 months old! Time flies when you're having fun . . .

This morning we decided the rainy weather meant a perfect opportunity to make our first family fieldtrip to the Aquarium. Here are our pictures from the excursion:

The first steps toward first steps

Millie aboslutely LOVES being held up and walking around the house. She's going to be mobile before we know it!

Here Millie is playing with some of the toys she got for Christmas. She really hit the jackpot this year, even though to her the box and wrapping paper were just as good as the toys inside of them!

Amelia's first Christmas

For Christmas this year we opened presents at home on the 19th before heading to Houston for the days leading up the 25th and to Amarillo for Christmas itself. It was a wonderful week, although Millie ended up with an ear infection on Christmas Eve, which was pretty miserable. After a trip to an urgent care clinic and a shot of antibiotic, she was back on track. Here are some pictures and videos from the week.

Ice, Ice, Baby

At the beginning of December mam and pops came up for the weekend and we went to the Gaylord Texan to see their Ice exhibit. It was awesome! Here we are all bundled up seeing as it was only 9 degrees in there!

Crawling!!

Her technique is still questionable, but she's getting better at it every day! Here's a video of her movin' and a groovin' a couple of weeks ago.

Say "peas"!

I haven't posted a picture in awhile and took this adorable classic the other night while Millie was enjoying her dinner of peas and tiny banana chunks, so I thought I'd share it! She's such a happy baby!

Halloween 2009

Millie's first Halloween!! And boy was it a great one. Pops and "Nona" (we're trying that one out for now) were here to help her celebrate. We went to an over-the-top Halloween party at Pop's friend's, Jerry's. Jerry had just purchased a $1.2M home for the land that it sits on and has plans to tear the old house down to replace it with a new one. Anyway, he'd decorated this place to the nines for Halloween, complete with bouncehouses, magicians, and enough cool candy to fill up an entire room. I'm pretty sure all of Millie's Halloween from here on out would pale in comparison if only she could remember this one! Here are a few pictures from the night:

Sharp Family Reunion

This past weekend we went to Amarillo for a Sharp family get together. It was so nice to see everyone and spend time with Ty's entire family. It was a fun weekend for Millie too! Everybody just loved her and thought she was such a doll, which in my unbiased opinion, she totally is! Her Aunt Scarlette did a hilarious Rock Star routine with her and Grandpa Bill took her and me for a tractor ride. She was definitely the life of the party!!

She was such a sweetheart all weekend and such a great baby! She just goes with the flow! She was such a different baby than the Millie I took to Amarillo 3 months ago!
