Amelia Mae at 6 Months

We had our 6 month well-visit last week and Millie is now standing 26 inches tall and weighing in at 16 pounds 13 ounces which puts her in the 95th percentile for height and the 75th to 95th percentile for weight. She still has her dad's little round head though, 25th to 30th percentile in that category :) although I wouldn't ask for it any other way!

Here are a few of my favorite shots from her 6 month photo session:

My little jumping bean

Millie's finally starting to get the hang of her Jumper!

Getting SO big!

Here are just a couple of pictures to show you how big Amelia is getting! It's been so much fun to see how much she develops from day to day!

High Chair

Amelia's finally able to sit in her high chair! We've now successfully gone through rice cereal and oatmeal, sweet potatoes and peas. She LOVES the peas! Our next adventure - carrots. Stay tuned for some messy pictures.

Finally Baptized!

We finally had Amelia baptized on August 23rd. Her Godparents are Uncle Gavin and Aunt Kayla. Mam and Pops and Uncle Josh were also in attendance. It was a very nice service and it was nice to have family here for the weekend. Here are some pictures, unfortunately we waited until after the service to take them and she was asleep at the time.

Another Milestone!

A couple weeks ago I watched as Millie rolled herself over from her back to her tummy, but she was not doing it with any regularity until now! When I put her down on her back she can almost instantly roll over to her tummy and that's all she wants to do! She wants so badly to get up and crawl somewhere, so it won't be long now until we're chasing her around. I'm so proud of her!

Hilton Head

Last week we took a family vacation to Hilton Head. It was the first time any of us had been there, but I must say, we'd love to go back! After sitting on the plane in Dallas for 2 1/2 hours before even taking off for our 2 hour flight, we were glad that Millie was one of the best kids on the plane! That whole experience was well worth the week we got to spend with our family and Tim's family. We already miss everyone dearly! The house we stayed in was gorgeous and right on the ocean. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the week (thanks to everyone for sending their pictures to me, thanks to the ocean and my clumsiness, I am the proud owner of a brand new camera, but missed a lot of opportunities to capture these moments on my own):
