Millie's first Halloween!! And boy was it a great one. Pops and "Nona" (we're trying that one out for now) were here to help her celebrate. We went to an over-the-top Halloween party at Pop's friend's, Jerry's. Jerry had just purchased a $1.2M home for the land that it sits on and has plans to tear the old house down to replace it with a new one. Anyway, he'd decorated this place to the nines for Halloween, complete with bouncehouses, magicians, and enough cool candy to fill up an entire room. I'm pretty sure all of Millie's Halloween from here on out would pale in comparison if only she could remember this one! Here are a few pictures from the night:
This past weekend we went to Amarillo for a Sharp family get together. It was so nice to see everyone and spend time with Ty's entire family. It was a fun weekend for Millie too! Everybody just loved her and thought she was such a doll, which in my unbiased opinion, she totally is! Her Aunt Scarlette did a hilarious Rock Star routine with her and Grandpa Bill took her and me for a tractor ride. She was definitely the life of the party!!
She was such a sweetheart all weekend and such a great baby! She just goes with the flow! She was such a different baby than the Millie I took to Amarillo 3 months ago!
It was gorgeous here last Friday, so I took advantage of the beautiful weather to take Millie to a pumpkin patch. We had a lot of fun feeding some farm animals, taking a hay ride, picking out our pumpkin and just enjoying a mommy-daughter day together!! Here's a few photos from the day:
We had our 6 month well-visit last week and Millie is now standing 26 inches tall and weighing in at 16 pounds 13 ounces which puts her in the 95th percentile for height and the 75th to 95th percentile for weight. She still has her dad's little round head though, 25th to 30th percentile in that category :) although I wouldn't ask for it any other way!
Here are a few of my favorite shots from her 6 month photo session:
Our daughter, Amelia, was born on March 23rd, 2009 and we've created this blog to share pictures and videos with family and friends who don't get to see her as often as they'd like.
